DYM Resources was positively evaluated for compliance with the qualification requirements to potential buyers of hydrocarbon raw materials, oil and gas processing products and petrochemicals at PJSC OC Rosneft in May 2021.
Rosneft is the biggest Russian oil producer and the 2nd biggest base oils and finished lubes exporter from Russia after Lukoil. Rosneft runs base oils units in Yaroslavl (50% share), Ufa, Novokuibyshevsk and Angarsk with total capacity close to 1 million tons of base oils per year. Rosneft plans to increase Group II and Group III production after its modernization program is finished.
DYM Resources has been buying low and high sulphur petroleum coke, base oils, finished lubricants, bitumen and PMB, and petroleum solvent from Rosneft since 2018. Group I SN 150, SN 350, SN 500 and BS-150 are among most popular base oils grades, but Rosneft can also offer MVI-2 (or 70N Group II base oil), VHVI-4, VHVI-6 and VHVI-8 base oils for export.
Regular qualification assessment is an important procedure and a prerequisite for companies that want to extend the contract with Rosneft. The qualification enables DYM Resources to purchase oil products for the next 18 months.
